Kenny Sutherland, Owner- Highway Man Signs

“Highway Man Signs opened its second location in Skiatook Oklahoma in 2014. We chose Skiatook because, unlike a lot of small towns in Oklahoma, Skiatook always felt like it was full of life and its best days were ahead and not behind. Add that to the people in the community, and we felt like it was a perfect match for us. Skiatook has been a fantastic addition to our business growth, and even more, we love the community we get to serve! ”

Megan Walker, Owner- Urban Oasis Salon & Spa

When searching for a place to start my business, Skiatook was one of the first to catch my eye. I love the community here and how the town will come together- whether it’s to support their school teams or to help a family or person in need; I wanted to be apart of that. It was also a perfect fit for me because I would be one of the first Estheticians in Skiatook so I felt I could really thrive here and bring something new to the town. Another big plus for owning a business in Skiatook is that a lot of smaller surrounding towns rely on Skiatook for their food and entertainment; I love that my business is not only providing service for Skiatook but several communities around them. Skiatook has a lot of fun attractions but I love that it also makes people feel at home.
